BB/SDI

I am a 1984 Graduate of MacArthur State Technical College (The name has now been changed to Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, MacArthur Campus) from which I earned an Associate in Applied Technology Degree in Drafting and Design Technology.

I have since been employed continuously in the steel fabrication business, serving as detailer, checker, project manager, estimator and engineering manager.

In February of 1998 I opened BB/SDI armed with a drawing board, a few tools, a list of contacts and 14 years experience in all phases of steel fabrication.

Since 1998, I have successfully completed projects that have ranged from 20 to 800 tons.

I use AutoCAD, CDS, Inc. ASteel 3D, Tekla Structures, and Steelware Version 5 to produce my work and Adobe Acrobat Professional to convert my drawings into a customer friendly format such as PDF, TIFF, or JPEG.
